The market place is rapidly changing and we have seen the need to provide our Clients with a seamless service in respect of their requirements, particularly in specialist areas of electrical installation and maintenance services.

For West Midlands Police, Electec have undertaken complex projects requiring high levels of co-ordination to operational facilities in Chelmsley Wood, Wednesfield and Birmingham.

At Cambridge Airport, the installation comprised of both power and control wiring at high level to gas heaters and various stand alone boiler houses within hangers and workshops.

A particular challenge was that work areas were populated with aircraft in various stages of disassembly being serviced. This demanded that Electec liaised closely with staff and carefully adopted working practices to ensure no debris was left or dropped from height.

At Electec, we have the in house experience and technical capabilities to design projects up to the value of £2million. We operate AutoCad for producing working and design drawings.

Our Cable Calculation Package is the award winning Amtech Office Suite which can produce detailed reports at the touch of a button ensuring reliability and delivery for our Clients.

Allied to the Amtech Office Suite is the Estimate Extreme estimating software. This is a powerful computerised project costing system that gives fast and accurate estimates for project costs. Schedules of rates and numerous other reports can be accessed quickly and efficiently.

Once Electec are awarded a contract, a dedicated Project Manager is allocated to the project. They will be the first point of contact and will liaise directly with our Client to ensure the smooth running of the project.

The Project Manager will also be responsible for any ongoing changes and will communicate at all times between the Clients Design Team and our own in house Design Team.
